A farm-hopping tour of a dozen farms in Granby
See farms not normally open to the public or fields and facilities not normally open to the public. Free admission to all the farms; produce and goods available for sale at most farms.
At the Garlic Farm, owner Gary Cirullo and members of the crew will present special events, and Gary has promised a special price on eggplant and peppers.
All of our farm's special events on Open Farm Day are free except our first-ever garlic braidmaking workshop (all supplies and coaching provided).
Open Farm Day activities on the Garlic Farm:
Tractors on display all day: snap your photo with a John Deere tractor.
Garlic Farm owner Gary Cirullo leads a tour of the farm, noon. (free admission)
Pepper samples and a brief talk by the newsletter editor on 50 Ways to Stuff a Pepper, 1 pm (free admission)
Demonstration: How to make a garlic braid, 2 pm (free admission)
Stay on after the demonstration to fashion your own in our first-time-ever braidmaking workshop, with coaching, garlic stalks, flowers, and other supplies provided, $25.
Garlic Farm owner Gary Cirullo gives a quick overview of how to plant and care for garlic in your own garden, with Q&A, 3 pm (free admission)
